A Large Scale Train Club
Rocky Mountain Rails is an adult large scale railroad club near Waterton Canyon in southwest Denver, built around dual-gauge operations, live steam, and welcoming visitors who want to experience the tracksite.
The club operates on Denver Water property near Chatfield Reservoir with restricted access, with approximately 5,000 feet of track, steam-up facilities, a loading area, and room to enjoy real operating sessions.
Members have access to the tracksite at any time, and guests are encouraged to get in touch to schedule a visit.
A substantial 4 3/4 inch and 7 1/2 inch layout with loading area, gazebo, turntable, and steam-up bays.
Prospective visitors can arrange a visit through the contact page and experience the railroad in person.
No locomotive yet? The club maintains gasoline-powered equipment and many members offer rides to visitors.
